Coming from two family owned businesses, Jamie starting learning the complexities of running an enterprise when she was very young. Her first taste of ‘business ownership’ came at ten years old when her grandma gave her and her brothers each a stock certificate for Disney in our Christmas stockings. She was the very proud owner of Disney World!

Jamie’s first real encounter with business ownership came through her work in our two family businesses, one which opened its doors in 1832 and other in 1919. They are both still going strong due to successful strategic planning that encompassed financial, operational and succession considerations. Being surrounded by these great business minds her whole life has provided incredible value for both her and her clients.

Jamie has also worked for large financial and accounting firms, and finds great satisfaction in bringing the skills she acquired during that time to her clients. In addition to serving as second in command for the finance division of a $50M annual revenue operation, her past experiences in auditing and financial advising have provided nearly 10 years of progressively complex engagements. Jamie is passionate about uncovering opportunities for businesses by developing financial models for use in complex decision making.

Jamie is a Hoosier, which in this case means she is an alumni of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business where she earned a double major in Accounting and Finance. She also distinguished her education and skills by earning my Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Jamie has previously held several financial designations such as Series 7, Series 66 and Life & Disability insurance licenses.
